Born in 2003, Tea Forté is the realization of a man's dream and idea. The renowned American designer Peter Hewitt set out with the idea of capturing "the art of tea" and outlining the tea ceremony in a modern key. Through the combination of artfully blended teas and specially designed accessories, Tea Forté transforms a cup of tea into an extraordinary experience that involves all the senses.

Peter Hewitt's passion for whole-leaf teas was born in Asian tea houses. It is there that he discovered the complexity of the fragrances of whole leaf tea available and the refined ceremony that accompanies the art of drinking tea.

Peter Hewitt has consulted chefs and culinary experts from around the world to create the most innovative and delicious blends. With the help of expert tea masters, he managed to create blends of whole-leaf tea, coarsely chopped herbs and flowers, perfect and accurate. Peter Hewitt designed every single detail of the pyramid-shaped filters with the symbol leaflet on the end. Each filter is a masterpiece; handmade in our workshop among the luxurious Chinese tea gardens and designed to give off the same fragrance and aroma as loose tea leaves.
